About the Program

With our masters programme, we offer a combination of teaching and research in the areas of art mediation and cultural management that is unique in Germany – in one of Germany's strongest economic and richest cultural regions. Our objective is to maintain a balance on the programme between academically proven teaching on the one hand and practice in the cultural sector on the other in order to prepare our graduates in the best possible way for complex and executive positions in the field of arts and culture and to allow them to carry on to a relevant doctoral programme. The interdisciplinary masters programme teaches students skills in the different areas of art mediation and cultural management. In addition to a systematic knowledge of the fundamentals of art history and business administration theory, students acquire an extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of an entrepreneurial approach and learn and test arts concepts of mediation in museums and art dealing.

Application Requirements

* Gerekli minimum derece: En az 6 dönemlik eğitim ve en az 'iyi' (2.2) not ortalamasına sahip bir Bachelor derecesi
* İktisat mezunları için: İşletme bilgisi (en az 60 ECTS), iktisat teorisi ve politikası (en az 12 ECTS) ve istatistik (en az 6 ECTS)
* Sanat ana dal mezunları için: HHU'nun BA ek ana dalına eşdeğer sanat tarihi bilgisi, ortaçağ sanat tarihi (en az 20 CP), modern sanat tarihi (en az 20 CP) ve modern/çağdaş sanat tarihi (en az 20 CP) dahil olmak üzere toplamda en az 60 ECTS
* Disiplinlerarası dereceler için: Hem sanat/kültür çalışmaları hem de işletme alanında bilgi, işletme alanında en az 30 ECTS ve sanat ve kültür çalışmaları alanında en az 30 ECTS
* Kabul için yetenek değerlendirmesi gereklidir
