About the Program

The Master's program in Business Administration complements the Bachelor's program in Business Administration as well as the Bachelor's program in Management and Law. Bachelor graduates from other programs with a business administration orientation can also pursue a Master's degree in Greifswald. Students can deepen and expand their scientific knowledge in Business Administration (BWL) and Economics (VWL). The Master's program consists of subjects from Business Administration, Economics, Quantitative Methods of Information Processing, and Culture, Country and Economic Studies of the Baltic Sea Region, which are distributed across a total of 15 specializations. Business Administration forms the main focus with nine specializations, and Economics with four. Students must select three out of the 15 specializations. Each specialization consists of two modules, each typically comprising at least two subjects. The Master's examination consists of module examinations in the specializations, two seminars, an oral examination in one of the chosen specializations, an internship, and the Master's thesis.
