About the Program

Business and Engineering in Clausthal aims to ensure that technical problems are solved from an economic point of view and economic problems are solved considering technological constraints. The Master's program prepares graduates to creatively adapt to new challenges in their professional lives, qualifying them for academic work and giving formal authorization for subsequent doctorate. The program takes students to the cutting edge of current research, enabling rapid transfer of new knowledge into business practice. It offers three fields of study: Production and Processes, Energy and Raw Materials Management, and Materials Technologies. The program provides a broad education in engineering and economics without specializing in engineering sub-disciplines, making it unique in Germany. It features close supervision, high teaching quality, and internationality. Fields of activity include raw materials and process engineering industry, energy industry, mechanical engineering, steel, plastics and building materials industries, automotive industry, and management consultancies.
