About the Program

The Master's program in Business Studies with Technical Qualification is designed for outstanding Bachelor's graduates in business studies from academic universities in Germany and abroad. The program builds directly on the content of the previous Bachelor's program but offers greater flexibility and takes into account your professional interests. Students choose specializations from business areas (44 ECTS points) and technical areas (22 ECTS points), continuing the technical focus from their Bachelor's degree. The program includes mandatory modules in qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as electives. The technical specializations available are Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Process Engineering. The program aims to sharpen business and economic methodology skills and provide both scientific and application-oriented training in the chosen specialization areas. Research-based learning is an important pillar of the Master's program, with seminars, a possible research project, and the Master's thesis. A 12-week business internship is required. The degree qualifies graduates for doctoral studies and enables them to take on demanding tasks in specialist and management positions.
