About the Program
The Bachelor's program in Civil Engineering at HafenCity University Hamburg has an annual intake capacity of 150 students. The program focuses on providing broad knowledge in scientific and construction-specific fundamentals rather than specialization, emphasizing interdisciplinary elements and transdisciplinary orientation. The Bachelor thesis is prepared in close cooperation with construction practice to establish the required practical relevance together with preliminary practice, laboratory internships, excursions, and practice-oriented project work.
