About the Program

The Crossmedia Publishing & Management programme has existed at the Hochschule der Medien since 2014, covering topics such as the importance of communication in companies and publishing processes against the backdrop of digitalisation. These subject areas are supplemented by management topics and legal principles. In addition to the previous focus on book and press publishing, a further specialisation is offered in the area of 'Sports Communication'. The program offers two specializations: Sports Communication and Publishing. The Sports Communication specialization provides knowledge of digital transformation, fan communication, brand management and media work in sport. The Publishing specialization focuses on digital and traditional forms of publishing, with modules on digital transformation, content strategies, e-publishing and management.
