About the Program

The Master's program in Economic Policy at the University of Siegen (MEPS) prepares students for the challenges of an increasingly globalized economy for companies, economic policy, and society. Through comprehensive training in economic theory and econometric methods, students develop the skills to independently examine real-world and policy-related issues using empirical analysis. With a strong international orientation, the program is offered entirely in English and begins each winter semester. The MEPS program includes a core set of required courses worth 30 credit points, providing students with a solid foundation in fundamental economic theories and methods. Beyond the Master's Thesis (15 credit points), students choose from a wide selection of electives to complete the remaining 75 credit points.
