About the Program

Electrical technology is today omnipresent: computers, satellites and data networks support the information society; modern electronics ensure clean and safe cars and are revolutionising medicine; sustainable and intelligent energy systems contribute to preserving the environment. All the things that make everyday life so pleasant have to be developed, designed, manufactured, tested for environmental impact, sold, used and later recycled. The course enables students to hold specialist and management positions as well as key positions in the areas of electrical engineering, electronics and computer science. The program features strong practical relevance of content, application of subject learnt in modern laboratories, close support from lecturers, and a variety of contacts in industry. Individual choice of specialization in Energy Technology or Information Technology allows the study program to be tailored to personal interests.
