About the Program

Electrical engineering is one of the most important economic sectors in Germany, covering the classic areas of energy supply, automation technology, telecommunications and circuit technology. The importance of electrical engineering has once again increased significantly due to the transformation of industry under the buzzwords "digitization of industry", "Industry 4.0" or "Industrial Internet of Things" and the energy transition. The course is designed to provide the foundations for researching and developing modern technologies for the digitalized world. It includes fundamentals of natural sciences, engineering fundamentals, engineering applications, and interdisciplinary content. The program requires an 8-week pre-study internship and a 10-week industrial placement.
