About the Program

In the dual Bachelor's degree programme in Electrical Engineering, students are enabled to identify engineering tasks and problems and to solve them using scientific and methodical approaches. They learn to optimally utilize and optimize the technologies available in electrical engineering. The degree programme builds on a broad spectrum of fundamental engineering and natural science subjects and combines these with the modern, career-oriented fields of general electrical engineering and computer engineering. In the first three semesters, the focus is on classic foundational modules in electrical engineering, such as mathematics, physics, fundamentals of electrical engineering, transformations, microcomputer technology, digital technology, and electronics. The later semesters are characterized by more in-depth, application-oriented courses in the respective specialization. The program offers two specializations: General Electrical Engineering and Technical Computer Science.
