About the Program

The Bachelor's degree programme teaches the fundamental knowledge that is important for every engineering degree course worldwide. Forward-looking topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability are included in the curriculum from an early stage. From the fourth semester onwards, there are three specialisations to choose from: Robotics & Automation, Virtual Design or Production & Materials Engineering. The Bachelor's degree programme has a strong practical focus: In a programming internship, students learn how to develop software in a team based on specific projects. In another placement, students develop technical solutions independently - for example by building robots. Special features include preparation for challenges of modern industry shaped by digitalization, automation, and sustainability, combining core engineering skills with focused training in emerging fields like AI and sustainable technology.
