The Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering lasts seven semesters and offers an overview of technical solutions in the complex contexts of environmental engineering. The program combines ecological aspects with economic and practice-oriented engineering tasks. It teaches skills required to understand environmentally relevant procedures, processes, methods and systems, to calculate, design, evaluate, compare and further develop them using scientific methods. In the first semesters, engineering fundamentals such as mathematics and mechanics are taught. Students then deepen their knowledge in resource management and waste technology, urban water management, hydraulic engineering, water management and transportation. The program includes a 12-week engineering internship. Environmental engineers work in research, industry, engineering offices and public administration.
