The study program in environmental engineering occupies itself with the engineering, technologies, and processes required for protecting the environment and natural resources. Students learn natural science and engineering science relationships and processes, and depending on orientation, will master fundamental and methodical subject knowledge in areas such as: environmental chemistry, environmental biology, thermodynamics, chemical/biological/mechanical/thermic process engineering, air pollution control, hydrology, water quality management, waste technology, conventional and renewable energies, traffic and engine technology, and environmental planning.
