Enjoy learning about a diverse range of issues at the interfaces between nature, technology and society: from soil science to biodiversity, geoinformation systems, environmental law, energy management, communication ... Train as an expert to teach, conduct scientific analyses of transformation processes and support such processes to achieve more sustainable environmental management. The program provides training in natural sciences and social sciences with a highly practice-oriented approach. Graduates can deal with issues relevant to nature and the environment while keeping social aspects in mind, collaborate to moderate human-environmental conflicts, develop innovative strategies to harmonize environmental processes and social needs, and analyze and evaluate questions in the natural sciences.
