About the Program

The Bachelor's degree programme in Filmmaking covers the entire spectrum of the cinema, television and streaming business. The focus is always on practical experience, which is guaranteed by film study projects, experienced lecturers and cooperation with top cooperation partners. The Filmmaking degree programme familiarises you with the wide spectrum of tasks and skills that are needed in the cinema and television industries. You will learn how to write scripts and implement them on film, deal with storytelling, camera work, editing as well as sound, lighting and video technology. It includes artistic and technical topics, and develops your soft skills such as communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work in a team. The program includes a practical internship semester where you can apply what you have learned directly in practice.
