About the Program

During the Bachelor's study program's early semester you will learn the scientific fundamentals of mathematics, physics, and computer science, as well as have geodesy and geoengineering modules profiled. Building on this foundation, subject specific knowledge will be taught from different core and supplementary geodesy and geoengineering. A two-week field internship will foster practical implementation of the learned measurement methods. Geodesy is applied in GPS instruments with digital maps, earth system research using satellite data for climate conclusions, sustainable urban planning, and projects like Google Earth.
