About the Program
The University of Kassel plays a leading role in environmental studies and is one of Germany's outstanding universities in the field of environmental education and research. ISU offers specially designed seminars concentrating on the environmental and technological aspects of engineering, business, and politics. Examples of English-taught seminars include: Adaptation Strategies to Climate Change Environmental Engineering and Renewable Energies Engineering Science of Wind Energy Systems Earthquake Engineering Project Management Digital Factory Planning Participants can take two seminars. German Language Courses: In addition to the academic seminars in the respective disciplines, all students attend intensive German language courses. These courses are offered at three different levels (from beginning to advanced). Participants will have plenty of opportunities to practise their language skills while staying with a host family.
