The master's degree programme in Human Resource Management is run jointly by Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Kempten University of Applied Sciences and Landshut University of Applied Sciences. It offers a unique combination of solid scientific foundation coupled with acute practical relevance. The aim of the degree programme is to advance professionalisation in human resource management, preparing graduates optimally for high-quality specialist and managerial positions in the field of human resources. The curriculum covers the entire spectrum of human resources work – from strategic orientation to operational issues – augmented with international aspects of human resource management and teaching important methodological skills such as mediation, coaching and consulting. The first two semesters focus on operational human resources management (recruiting, performance management, staff development, working time management), strategic content (HR cost planning and controlling), labour and social law, change management skills, HR IT, digitalised human resources processes and data protection.
