About the Program

Intermedia design offers a course of study for people with different orientations - be they design, artistic or technological. The decisive factor is openness and the willingness to go through development processes as a creative person and to want to participate in the design of digital media. In small groups and with modern equipment, students learn what is important for their future professional life. The program focuses on implementing ideas independently and professionally rather than memorizing content. The course offers diverse areas including Games & 3D-Art, Hypermedia, Narrative Formats, Media Spaces and Media Scenographies, Theory and Praxis of Intermediaries, and Basics of Intermedia Design. Students implement 4-5 projects each semester to build an impressive portfolio. The program includes access to 8 specialized laboratories including film studio, 3D animation lab, audio lab, motion capturing, installation lab, coding lab, VR-lab, and wearable-lab.
