About the Program

This Bachelor's program prepares highly talented musicians for international careers as soloists for the instruments violin, viola, or cello. Students receive instruction from internationally renowned artists and can thus achieve the highest level of technical and artistic skill. They develop an interpretive, creative, and comprehensively educated form of expression, are trained in understanding theoretical, historical, and cultural aspects of music, play music alone or with others, and move in an environment where artistic, intellectual, and social skills can be fostered and developed. Those who successfully complete two years of study (BA phase) graduate with a Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.).
