Mathematics (Greek: "art of learning") is one of the oldest sciences and deals with the analysis of abstract structures as well as techniques for modeling and solving complex problems. Today, mathematics is a key technology with many areas of application and very good career opportunities. On the Bachelor's degree course in Mathematics, you will acquire basic mathematical knowledge and skills. By choosing an applied subject (science and technology, business mathematics or philosophy), the course also provides you with skills in another subject. In the higher semesters, you will be able to set your own focus through numerous elective options. The course is complemented by software internships and an optional industrial internship.
