About the Program

The Mechatronics degree programme combines elements from the classical engineering sciences of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. In a balanced mix of theory and practice, students learn to understand and develop technical products and production facilities. The first two semesters focus on mechanics, computer science, electrical engineering and natural sciences like mathematics and physics. Later semesters deepen knowledge in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering/electronics and information technology. The program includes an 18-week practical phase that can be completed as a practical semester or divided into study-accompanying practical phases.
