About the Program

The global healthcare industry is the industry of the future par excellence, internationally positioned and always on the lookout for qualified engineers to work in companies, medical institutions or public authorities. With us, you will learn everything you need to work interfacing between people and technology, medicine and technology. The international degree programme includes technical modules as well as interdisciplinary components. The lectures have a strong practical focus and utilise interactive formats. The theory is supplemented by practical exercises in our laboratories and project work. You will have access to a teaching and research operating theatre, learn about large medical devices for imaging and radiotherapy in the x-ray & molecular imaging laboratory and can expand your anatomical knowledge in the medical training centre using ultrasound equipment. In the technical area, you will programme computers, learn how to work with robots and use various 3D printers. You will also have contact with industry and medical facilities through excursions, listen to guest lectures from experts in medicine and industry and do industry-related project work from the start of your studies with us. The English-language Bachelor's degree programme in medical engineering is aimed at those interested in improving or maintaining people's health with the help of technical solutions and who enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams.
