About the Program

Object and Space Design is three-dimensional storytelling. It transforms ideas and content into concrete design. Spaces are staged and dramatized through the use of various media to make seemingly abstract concepts tangible and understandable. The seven-semester bachelor's program offers practice and career-oriented project studies with specializations in object design, space design, art in public spaces, and scenography. Students learn to plan and implement projects, deal flexibly with various challenges, and acquire material knowledge as well as methodological and media competence. The program includes modules such as plastic design, material science & model building, drawing representation, lighting design, object realization, and eco-design.
