About the Program

In the part-time engineering degree program Electrical Engineering and Management, you will be trained to independently acquire in-depth and new knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, information technology and management and to carry out research and application-oriented projects. If you commence your studies in the summer semester, you will begin with the economic topics, if you start studying in the winter semester, you will begin with the engineering topics, both of which are taught independently of one another. In the following semester, you will carry out a project in either engineering or economics. The degree program includes a catalog of required elective subjects from the area of engineering, with courses ranging from networked systems and security technology to advanced topics from energy and automation technology and power electronics. The main focus is on the subject areas Internet of Things/Industry 4.0, Smart Mobility and Smart Energy. The master's degree program qualifies you to take on management, development and research tasks in the electrical engineering and information technology industry, e.g. in automation and information technology, energy technology and electronics as well as leadership roles in areas of management.
