Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

Physics looks at the basic relationships in nature. It is therefore considered to be the basic science of all natural sciences. Physicists deal with the properties and behavior of matter and fields in space and time as well as the dynamics of space and time itself. Students receive a sound grounding, which covers the full scope of experimental and theoretical physics. They also gain insights into the research specialisations at the University of Bremen: biophysics, solid-state physics, environmental physics, applied optics and the theory of dynamic systems contribute towards Bremen University's outstanding reputation for fundamental research, as well as applied and interdisciplinary research.
