Physik

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

Physics is the key to modern understanding of nature and forms the basis of all modern future technologies. Studying physics means learning to understand and apply the laws of the physical world. The Bachelor of Physics provides the necessary tools. BTU is one of two universities offering the opportunity to study physics in Brandenburg. The special feature of this program is the intensive supervision and practical training. Students are integrated into research projects already in the bachelor's phase. Through close cooperation with research institutes such as the Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics (IHP) or the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems (IPMS), students can also conduct research at non-university institutions. These experiences pay off later with excellent career prospects and perfect prerequisites for subsequent master's studies in physics or related fields.
