plusMINT

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

plusMINT is an orientation studies program that brings together mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology fields. It consists of a two-semester orientation phase where students get to know various STEM subjects, consolidate basic knowledge, and acquire interdisciplinary skills before starting a six- to seven-semester major. The orientation phase includes tutorials, workshops for study and career planning, key skills acquisition, propaedeutic courses, STEM projects, and an interdisciplinary lecture series. From the third semester onwards, students specialize in one of the traditional Bachelor's programs from the STEM spectrum. The program is designed to help students test their aptitude and talent, compensate for inequalities in prior knowledge, and make a qualified decision about their studies, thus increasing chances of successful degree completion.
