About the Program

The Bachelor of Arts - Public Administration program lasts three years (6 semesters). It combines theoretical study periods at the Hessian University of Public Management and Security (with four campuses in Gießen, Kassel, Mühlheim and Wiesbaden) with practical training periods in training authorities. The sixth semester requires completion of a thesis addressing a practical problem, combined with an internship. After submitting the thesis, the program offers a career-entry internship until the colloquium (oral thesis examination), supported by elective theoretical modules.
