The Hessische Hochschule für öffentliches Management und Sicherheit (HöMS) is a Fachhochschule for public administration, as well as a Police Academy and a training institution for members of the Hessen state administration. The institution consists of Police and Administration departments and has campuses in Wiesbaden (main campus), Kassel, Gießen, and Mühlheim am Main. HöMS was established at the beginning of 2022 through the merger of the former Hessische Hochschule für Polizei und Verwaltung (HfPV) with the Hessen Police Academy and Zentrale Fortbildung Hessen (ZFH). HfPV, in turn, was known until the end of 2010 as the Verwaltungsfachhochschule (VFH) in Wiesbaden.
