Technical Sales

Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)

About the Program

Sales engineers are responsible for marketing industrial goods. They are a crucial link between industrial customers and their own company. Marketing often complex products requires a combination of both technical knowledge and communication skills. The Master's programme provides students with knowledge and skills that help them to master the complex tasks in sales, understand the application-specific problems of customers, analyze the direct sales process, and develop and implement the corresponding sales processes. The standard period of study is three semesters, divided into two semesters of theoretical study and one semester for the Master's thesis. The programme is offered in a block format, with approximately every other calendar week, two to three-day blocks taking place at THM. As a dual study programme, the learning locations of the university and the workplace alternate.
