About the Program

The Bachelor's program in Environmental Sciences teaches students to actively shape the world and develop solutions for the challenges of our time such as climate change, environmental pollution, urban change, and resource scarcity. The program combines knowledge from land, water, and atmosphere systems with a choice of specialization in Water Management, Land Use, Environmental Technology, Sustainability Strategies, System Analysis, Urban and Regional Planning, or a broader study across all areas. The program can also be completed as a practice-integrated dual study program (7 semesters) in cooperation with a company or institution. After graduation, career opportunities include research and development, environmental protection, environmental authorities and nature conservation organizations, data analysis/Big Data, and industry.
