About the Program

The Master's program in Wine Business aims to qualify bachelor graduates from wine business, viticulture, agricultural sciences, beverage technology, and nutritional sciences for economic management positions in companies and institutions of the national and international wine industry. Students are enabled to conduct applied research projects in the areas of wine business. The program accordingly contains general and profession-related economic as well as research methodological study focuses. Students spend one semester each at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen (JLU) and Hochschule Geisenheim University (HS Geisenheim), where they acquire the necessary basic knowledge specific to the program in the core modules. Building on this, they can design their studies individually and flexibly according to their goals and wishes through freely selectable profile modules at both locations.
