About the Program

The eight BioEU Master of Science Programmes offer tailor-made curricula according to personal interests. Selecting a particular BioEU Master programme allows students to become specialists in their chosen field of interest. During the master programme, students will be involved in ongoing projects in leading edge research groups either at the university of Würzburg or partner universities. Students may directly continue their research activities in a subsequent doctoral programme in a leading edge environment. The program covers various areas including cell biology, biochemistry, neurobiology, molecular genetics, evolution, ecology, bioinformatics, metabolomics, proteomics, behavior, neuron function, mechanisms of microbial infection, parasitology, tumor development and tissue regeneration.
