About the Program

The Master of Science in Chemie degree programme enables students to obtain an in-depth education with a variety of opportunities for specialisation. The programme builds on knowledge and skills obtained during the Bachelor of Science degree in Chemie. It is also designed to fulfill the requirements for students to do independent research as part of a doctoral programme or to use their technical and scientific skills to work in industry, business, administration, research or teaching. Students are required to choose three main subject areas from: Inorganic Chemistry; Biochemistry; Macromolecular Chemistry; Organic Chemistry; Physical Chemistry; Technical Chemistry; Theoretical Chemistry. One of the three main subject areas will be chosen as the main area of specialisation.
