About the Program

The objective of this master's program is to form experts with appropriate knowledge and skills to analyze current problems related to the usage and management of natural resources. Global population, economic growth and on-going environmental deterioration put increasing pressure on the existing natural systems. Their ability to provide renewable resources such as food, water and energy is at risk and waning. This calls for specialists and leadership in order to develop and employ managerial, economical, governance, and technical solutions. The Master's program is application-oriented. Ideal candidates are recently graduated professionals with working experience in public or private institutions, authorities and enterprises of the natural resources sector. The applicants should be active in or dealing with natural resources management and have an interest in learning and working in an intercultural and multidisciplinary environment. The program is offered in two different variants – as a Single Degree Program (only in Germany) and as a Double Degree Program (Mexico/Germany).
