Neurosciences

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

The English-language Master's program in Neurosciences is designed for Bachelor's graduates who have a qualified basic education in the life sciences, physics, computer science, mathematics or psychology. The master's program provides interdisciplinary training in neuroscience that combines experimental and theoretical research and its translation to application. Students are given early choices for specialization in either Computational Neurosciences or Experimental Neurosciences, but without having to commit to a direction. Through inquiry-based learning, independent work comes more and more to the fore as the program progresses, first in Advanced Studies, then in Lab Projects, and finally in the Master's thesis. Graduates can work both in academia (PhD approx. 68%) and in the private sector and public authorities.
