Science, Single-Subject GEODETIC ENGINEERING

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

The master program Geodetic Engineering is a research orientated program that helps students develop skills in approaching challenging, new and unsolved problems in geodesy and the application of geodetic methods in related fields. Students learn problem-solving skills rather than using standard software for standard applications. The program offers three different profiles: Geodetic Earth System Science and Data Analysis, Geoinformation and Spatial Development, and Mobile Sensing and Robotics. The Geodetic Earth System Science profile deals with advanced satellite- and space-geodetic observation techniques combined with innovative data processing and modeling approaches. The Geoinformation and Spatial Development profile focuses on developing and implementing innovative solutions to problems of spatial data handling and development of technologies. The Mobile Sensing and Robotics profile addresses state-of-the-art techniques for analyzing and interpreting sensor data recorded from moving vehicles like cars, UAVs, robots or agriculture platforms.
