About the Program

The career-integrated Master's degree program in Sustainable Technology provides students with the skills to evaluate technical products and capital goods as well as the production systems based on them in terms of their energy and resource efficiency and to develop them in such a way that their ecological footprint is significantly reduced over the entire product life cycle. The program focuses on extraction, storage and use of renewable forms of energy, optimization of energy and resource use, recycling and circular economy, as well as holistic evaluation of products. The program has a specialization in Hydrogen, Photovoltaic & Wind. It combines theory, practice and individual support through the Project Competence Study Program® which means students must work in a company while studying. The Project Competence Study Program® allows students to apply theoretical knowledge directly in their company projects, creating real added value and acquiring valuable references for their qualification as specialists. Students receive intensive academic training and individual coaching from lecturers from both science and business backgrounds.
