About the Program
The Master's program in Environmental Protection (Umweltschutz) offers students the opportunity to engage intensively with current and future environmental protection challenges. The program provides in-depth knowledge in biological-ecological, municipal, and technical environmental protection areas while fostering students' ability to develop innovative solutions for various environmental problems. Whether climate protection, preservation of threatened ecosystems, or development of sustainable technologies, this master's program optimally prepares students for these tasks. The program is a cooperation model between four universities: Hochschule Esslingen, Hochschule Reutlingen, Hochschule für Technik (HFT) Stuttgart, and Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt (HfWU) Nürtingen-Geislingen. Each university contributes its core competencies in environmental protection to the program. Lectures take place at all four cooperating universities on a daily rotation basis.
